Songwriters Coast to Coast: Freebo, Alice Howe, Geoff Goodhue, & Nick Vandenberg
Please join us for a memorable evening of musical collaboration among four singers and writers of songs: Alice Howe, Freebo, Geoff Goodhue, and Nick Vandenberg.
With her soulful, impeccably tuned voice, Alice Howe is “up there with the very best of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gretchen Peters and Dar Williams” (Folking.com). Her song “Homeland Blues” from her EP You’ve Been Away So Long debuted as the #1 song on the April 2017 Folk-DJ chart. Freebo is an award-winning singer-songwriter who is best known as a world-renowned bassist (Bonnie Raitt 10 years, CSN, Ringo Starr, Maria Muldaur, Dr. John, and many others). Freebo is producing Alice’s first full-length album, and the two have been touring together over the past year. Alice and Freebo met New Hampshire-based multi-instrumentalist Geoff Goodhue (Beg, Steal, or Borrow) at the Folk Alliance International Conference in Kansas City this February, and together with Geoff's musical parter, Boston-based Nick Vandenberg, they decided to join forces for this show.
